About Me!

Hi, I'm Fabi, also know as Mangakafabi or Micashi !

In Micashi I want to capture the beauty of the world, a funny feeling to see life with humor that gives me a protective embrace where you can escape from the evil, the abuse of the kind and war.

I loved stickers when I was a 5 year old girl; in 2014 while I was studying the technical career Audiovisual Communication when my country of origin got into a civil war, and between the crisis and persecutions I had to stay sheltered at home, without internet, without electricity and without being able to approach the windows, to escape from reality I began to create stories in my head to then want to draw them as comics, so this is when I started to practice drawing and creating comics for me and my friends.

In 2016 I managed to flee my country, I came to the United States working in humble jobs, cleaning in hotels and painting houses, I dedicated myself to learn English while working and in less than a year thanks to my effort and the blessing of having the right people in my way, I could get an office job as a receptionist in which I lasted years, able to be sitting and could continue drawing.

It wasn't until 2021 after I caught Covid, I was unemployed and started watching Sticker Small business videos, two things I love combined, creating art and my old passion for stickers! That's how I took my first steps in creating Micashi store, where I love to draw my characters, and especially the yellow ball I'm obsessed with called La Pipa.

So, my intention is that in Micashi I can capture the beauty of the world, a funny feeling to see life with humor that gives me a protective embrace where you can escape from the evil, the abuse of the kind and war.

I have no words to describe how grateful I am to USA for giving me protection, allowing me to dedicate myself to what I studied and love most in life, and how grateful I am to you, who have supported me and given me the love and kindness that I never had in my home country. Learning English has opened the doors to a totally new world that I was unaware of, which motivates me to continue learning languages throughout my life.

Now I just want to dedicate my days to having a peaceful and happy life drawing and sharing it with you and the world.
